Chief Medical Officer; Ron Rosedale, M.D.
Dr. Ron Rosedale is a nationally known expert in nutritional and
metabolic medicine. His interest in metabolic medicine began as a
student at Northwestern University Medical School, where he worked with
Dr. Jeremiah Stammler, one of the world's experts in the epidemiology
of diet, cholesterol, and heart disease. Dr. Rosedale has been a
pioneer in applying concepts based on the biology of aging to diabetes
and heart disease using a nutritional approach that he has developed to
improve the cellular response to insulin and leptin. For the last 15
years he has achieved consistent success in reversing type II diabetes
and its associated co-morbidities such as heart disease and obesity.
Dr. Rosedale has published a highly acclaimed book for the general
public, The Rosedale Diet, which outlines his approach. Dr. Rosedale's
success has been featured in many magazine and newspaper articles and
in many dozens of radio and television interviews including CNBC and
National Public Radio. He is a popular lecturer both at medical
conferences and at public seminars. One lecture in particular, "Insulin
and Its Metabolic Effects" given many years ago was transcribed by a
participant and has achieved worldwide acclaim.
